Your children must be bored to their wits’ end now that school is out and they have not much thing to do at home. Of course, you would allow them occasional couch potato-ing especially when all their tasks at done but you’d definitely cringe to see them watch the telly all day {I do!}. The key to keeping them entertained during their free time is to keep them occupied. Enroll them in a summer classs or two and I am sure you will thank yourself that you did.
Anyway, one great summer activity will have to be enrolling your children in drama or acting lessons. Browse through the press release below for more information about Trumpet’s The Bluebird Musical…
Parents are constantly on the lookout for fun and wholesome entertainment for their kids. With all the violence and gore that’s available with just the touch of a remote or a computer mouse, parents wish for other options for family fun and amusement.
Trumpets understands this need and is proud to bring “The Bluebird”, a musical adaptation of the classic tale by Belgian playwright Maurice Maeterlinck. With book and lyrics by Jaime del Mundo and music by Rony Fortich, this all-Filipino musical is ready to captivate children of all ages with a delightful story, colorful characters, beautiful music, fantastic production design, brilliant staging, hearty laughs, touching moments and a valuable lesson. As the first Asian professional gospel theater group widely known for musicals that provide wholesome family entertainment such as “The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe”, “Little Mermaid”, “Joseph the Dreamer”, and “N.O.A.H.”, Trumpets dedicated the last three years developing “The Bluebird” and is very excited, along with other theater performers, about this big musical comeback. “I think it’s very exciting. Joaquin Valdez enthuses, “Trumpets is the only production company that has successfully brought the stuff of dreams and fantasy to life. I don’t know of any other theater company that has matched the caliber Trumpets has introduced.” Even Jake Macapagal is “extremely proud of Trumpets’ line of successful adaptations. The reputation that Trumpets has for family entertainment and supporting the local scene with vibrant productions and storytelling is second to none.” With the show’s theme of finding happiness where your heart is, Lynn Sherman too is “excited like everyone!
