After our gastronomic adventure in Malolos, it is time for our group of #BulacanBloggers to proceeded to Sta.Maria for a sparty. Originally situated in Caypombo, Sta. Maria, Bulacan, KukoCo opened its doors to Bulakenos seeking some well-deserved pampering in November, 2012 and transferred later on to its current and bigger location in San Gabriel.

We all felt like queens upon seeing their welcome note at the door and the lovely feast they prepared for us. They really pulled out all the stops and even closed the place especially for us! I absolutely love each colorful detail + accent in their set up, it went well with the equally beautiful and rustic feel of their salon.

Learn To Grow Your Own Veggies + Herbs At Home With Cedarhills’ Organic Urban Gardening 101 Workshop

mum's thoughts, green project, green ideas, workshops, organic gardening, Home and Garden, mum going green

I have always wanted to grow my very own organic garden even in our little backyard, I guess it is only natural as I grew up having our own version of bahay kubo at home, sans the actual bahay kubo, that is! My Mama has a passion for gardening and planting, we have veggies and plants growing in every available space in the backyard. We have eggplant, okra, calamansi, sili, pandan, kamias, as well as fruit-bearing trees such as guava, mango, santol. We also have a riot of lovely flowering plants, like bougainvillea, santan, and hibiscus in different colors. I can also vividly remember the beautiful scent of sampaguita surrounding the yard, which used to greet me each morning.

It was unfortunate that I did not inherit my Mama’s green thumb and my feeble attempt at gardening in pots were rather unsuccessful, with most of the plants and herbs I got drying up and eventually dying.

I almost gave up until I got an invite to join the Organic Urban Gardening 101 Workshop a few months back. Of course, I immediately said yes as I was eager to grow my very own organic garden at home.

Relieve Dry Skin With Jergens® Hydrating Coconut Lotion

products, skin care, products for women

Applying lotion is one of my favorite simple treats. Not only does it relieve my skin of dryness, it is also a relaxing exercise especially after a long, tiring day. I simply enjoy applying lotion on my skin, especially on the soles of my feet, which tends to dry up because of wearing flip flops all the time!

Jergens used to be my go-to brand and my most favorite of all is their Soothing Aloe variant, I simply love its feel on my skin and the soothing relaxing Aloe Vera scent. It has been awhile since I last used Jergens, that is why I was delighted to receive a sample of their latest variant not too long ago. I was excited to try the new Jergens Hydrating Coconut.

Coconut Water and coconut oil are all the rave these days and it was rather timely that Jergens came up with their very own lotion in this variant. Coconut water is known to be rich in minerals and is considered a much better alternative than water, while Coconut Oil, on the other hand, is a natural oil that has an effective moisturizing effects to the skin. Jergens Hydrating Coconut also has Hydralucence blend, a technology that creates 2 layers of moisture on the skin allowing light to bounce off and give the skin luminosity.

I almost always apply lotion at night before bed so I have yet to see the luminosity effects of Jergens Hydrating Coconut lotion, however, I absolutely love its moisturizing effect on my skin. It leaves my skin smooth and supple, especially in the morning when I wake up. I particularly love how it smoothens out the rough spots on my soles, leaving my feet moisturized and smooth!  The sweet coconut scent is also very appealing. This variant is available in 250ml and 650ml bottles.
