Gone are the days when nebulizer is only prescribed for people suffering from asthma and other respiratory diseases. Today it is a necessity in every household, especially for those who have babies and small children. The hassle with ordinary and old nebulizer models is that they are so big and bulky and are way too loud. I can clearly remember how my little man would fuss over our big nebulizer’s loud buzzing sound every time he needs to use it for his asthma attacks and bad cases of cough.

This is the reason why I was excited to discover and learn more about the Omron Comp Air NE-C801 Nebulizer model when I attended their launch a few months back. And it did exceed my expectations. It was the smallest and most compact nebulizer around and the most quiet, too!

Omron previously sent me a Comp Air NE-C801 Nebulizer unit to review. The package comes with the following:

  • Nebulizer kit
  • Inhalation attachments that include a Child Mask {PVC}, an Adult Mask {PVC}, and a Mouthpiece
  • Compressor
  • Air Tube
  • AC adapter
  • Instruction Manual
  • 5 pieces Spare Air Filters
  • Carrying Bag

You will be delighted and surprised to find out that this nebulizer unit that comes in a small dark blue carrying case is so small, making it very easy for mum to stash it in her diaper or overnight bag when traveling with the little ones.

5 Reasons Why You Should Get The Comp Air NE-C801 Nebulizer

  • Convenience of Use ~ this unit is very easy to assemble and use.  It is also very easy to clean afterwards.  Just wash the nebulizer kit, mask, and mouthpiece with mild detergent and warm water. Rinse thoroughly with hot water and air dry. The non-washable parts like the compressor and Air Tube {PVC}, on the other hand, must be wiped clean with a soft cloth after each use.
  • Compact and Handy ~ it is very ideal for families on the go. You never have to worry about how your child can get his medications whilst on the road as you can easily stash this nebulizer in your  traveling bag or at the back of the car. It even comes with a carrying bag you can conveniently place in the car compartment or your luggage whilst traveling. It is also very convenient to store it especially if you have a limited space at home.
  • Affordability ~ for its numerous features and top notch quality, this nebulizer is very affordable at Php3,280. Not to mention, this is manufactured by a trusted brand in health care, Omron.
  • Low Noise ~ especially if you have a little one who makes a fuss about annoying sounds, this is the perfect nebulizer for you as it gets the job done sans the loud buzzing sound that usually comes with bigger nebulizer. Your child can get the medications he needs without the fuss and the additional stress.
  • Efficient Nebulization ~ it uses V.V.T {Virtual Valve Technology} that allows for efficient nebulization rate of 0.3ml/mn and less medicine wastage. The small particle size of 3um also makes for effective treatment allowing the patient to breathe easy faster.

  1. That’s really handy to have such a gadget by omron. I remember back then when the kids were really young we would have to go to the clinic to get nuberlised if they had breathing problems or even the hospital.

    1. Yes, we experienced that, too, the first time my little man experienced his first asthma attack. It was inconvenient and way to uncomfortable for an ailing child to queue at the hospital to get nebulized. That is why I always thought it was a sound decision to invest in a nebulizer at home.

  2. I also noticed that there are families who have nebulizer even they don’t have asthma. When my son was a baby, the doctor suggested a baby inhaler (not sure sa term) but we used it when my son has colds and cough. As of now, hindi pa naman kami pinabibili ng nebulizer.

    1. I guess it is common practice these days to nebulize children suffering from severe cases of cough and colds. Probably because nebulizer gives faster relief, most advisable for small children.

  3. Thanks for sharing. I love that this latest Nebulizer is so compact and handy. It is perfect for travel, even for out of the country trips. It fits even in our hand carry.

  4. True that nebulizers are now not only for asthma. When our doctor here told me we can use nebulizer for our kid, I was rattled because I thought he had asthma. Then my friend clarified that nebulizer helps kids breathe properly. Clear the airways as well. We have the Omron old version. I want this portable one for traveling. =)

  5. Our pedia said that a nebulizer is something we MUST have when my son was a baby. And true enough, we kept on using a nebuliser. She also said not to scrimp, because the cheap ones could be a waste of money. This portable nebuliser is great! Hindi hassle pag nag-out of town!
