Anjuna Beach

Candolim Beach
The Candolim beach is a quiet and relatively secluded beach. It lies about fifteen kilometres from Panjim which is the Capital of Goa. The beauty of this beach is the fact that it is relatively less commercialised and one can relax on the sands watching the waves of the Arabian Sea. One of the most attractive feature of the beach are scrub covered sand dunes which lie towards the back of the beach.
Agonda Beach
Agonda beach is a great place to unwind. One can sunbathe in leisure or swim in the sea at this beach. The Agonda beach sees lesser footfalls and hence is a great place if you want to relax away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Agonda beach is located at a ninety minutes drive from the Goa airport.
Butterfly Beach
The Butterfly beach is a hidden gem of Goa, not many people head out there and in fact not many are aware of it. One needs to reach the beach by a boat. It has a semicircular shape and looks like an island. Apart from the boat when can also get to it through a forested area by trekking, but the boat is always more convenient. The beach is surrounded by hillocks which are swarming with colorful butterflies and hence the name, Butterfly beach. The gorgeous and pristine beach and the crystal clear waters combined with its seclusion give the beach an enchanted aura.

It seems like India shares the same features with our country. They got so many great beaches to offer. For a country being known for hot weather, it is great to know that they got many beaches and you can spot a lot in Goa, India alone.

You would be surprised to know that I have never been to Goa! Not that I don’t like the place but there are so many other places vying for my attention-the mountains, jungles, deserts etc. The topmost picture is so Goaesque! Many Hindi movies show Goa in those colours!
