Thankful Thursday: Of Gratitude + Disappointments

In life, disappointments are inevitable. People in our lives, even those we love, including our spouse and our children, are bound to disappoint us numerous times. Circumstances and situations will also disappoint us time and again. That is why it really is a must that we keep an attitude of gratitude that when disappointments come in we can still manage to see the good in everyone or everything and let love, peace, and contentment come to us, instead.

This week, I am grateful for:

:rose: class suspensions so the little one can relax at home and be safe from the storm
:rose: long conversations with a dear friend
:rose: my Rainbow Papeterie order arriving
:rose: binging on A Series of Unfortunate Events and Boss Baby with my little couch potato
:rose: 35% discount on my favorite V&M products
:rose: chicken sopas from my dear neighbor
:rose: more opportunities for the blog
:rose: getting more opportunities for the other blogs
:rose: finishing off more deadlines
:rose: finally having the time to update Jared’s Little Corner and loving its new simple and clean theme
:rose: decluttering a bit more at home {although I still have tons of stuff to sort through and clean}

I am also thankful that I was able to relax a bit more the past few days whilst classes were suspended. For a while, it was as if we were back to our old routine of sleeping way too late and waking up later the next morning. It is back to regular programming tomorrow, though, as classes are back in our city. Hopefully, I can make the most of my child-free day at home, finish more deadlines, do some chores, and meet-up with the steel straw seller.

What are you grateful for today? :heart:
