Indeed, gratitude is not merely our reaction to whatever we have been given, but rather an active response to being aware of the presence of everything around us. In doing so, we realize that we do not need to receive anything in order to be grateful, as there is so much to be grateful for in the here and now, exactly where we are.
This week, I am grateful for:
:rainbow: the tiny blooms of my Vietnam Rose
:rainbow: a two-hour chitchat with my dear friend from across the miles
:rainbow: the anticipation for the new film that features my favorite wizarding world, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. I cannot wait to revisit Hogwarts! :heart:
:rainbow: another surprise in the mail {which I plan to share with a lucky reader/follower very soon}
:rainbow: watching Anne with an “E” again, this time with my sister, because binge watching is way better when you have someone to discuss it with. Hoping to get my hands on the printed copy soon.
:rainbow: another weekend looming
:rainbow: ticking off more items on my to-do list
:rainbow: doing the 21-Day Meditation with the little man every night
:rainbow: discovering old favorites on Spotify
:rainbow: the little man slowly easing into his daily journaling routine
:rainbow: watching Princess Sarah with my little cartoon addict on Yey!
:rainbow: new opps for the blog
:rainbow: for my gradeschooler showing patience and diligence when studying and working on his homework. I rarely need to remind him to do his homework and finish his worksheets, and would often tell me “Mommy, nagawa ko na ang homework. Okay na un, wag mo na i-check.” 🙂
What are you thankful for today? :rainbow:
