Mum Finds: Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel Stage 2

mum finds, products, mum going green, products for children, products for toddlers, personal hygiene products, safe baby products, earth-friendly products,

Oh this is another weekly theme I have been meaning to share here, Mum Finds, where I will share with you products or services that I have recently stumbled upon which I thought you might want to buy or avail for your children or your family, too. For this week, I am sharing Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel which I have discovered a few months back in the display rack of a local Mercury Drug, where I was buying a bunch of meds for the little man at the time. Jared has been using the Pigeon Children Toothpaste for the longest time and I thought it was time to switch to another brand, hopefully a greener alternative this time around. I have been using Tiny Buds Rice Powder on the little man for a long while now and when I saw this tooth gel I knew I had to try it, too!

Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel in a nutshell

mum finds, products, mum going green, products for children, products for toddlers, personal hygiene products, safe baby products, earth-friendly products,

This is a safer training tooth gel for children aged 3 years and up. This is a Xylitol tooth gel that helps to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy gums. It has a low-foaming formula that helps children to form a good oral hygiene habit at their toddler stage, as well as introducing them to the mild, minty taste of tooth gel. This kiddie tooth gel is also free from SLS, paraben, fluoride or artificial color, which makes it safe for little ones when they accidentally swallow it.

This tooth gel retails at Php99 per 55gram tube and comes in two variants, Stage 1 Non-foaming Formula in Straberry Banana flavor and Stage 2 Low-Foaming Formula in Tutti Fruitti flavor.

Apart from Mercury Drugs branches, Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gels are also available in Baby Company stores nationwide, as well as in Landmark in Trinoma.

Why mums would love this product?

Everything that is green is all right in my book. The fact that this is a natural tooth gel puts my OC-ish mum’s mind at ease. It is safe for infants and toddlers and is also made from food-safe ingredients and is also FDA-approved. The little man have yet to get accustomed to the minty taste, however, but am sure he will get used to it in time.

Replenished My Human Heart Nature Stash

online shopping, products, Human Heart Nature, mum going green, earth-friendly products, beauty products, personal hygiene products, cleaning products

I have recently received funds on my Paypal account and it was rather timely as I have just ran out of my Human Heart Nature’s feminine wash and laundry detergent, so off I went to shop for HHN’s products. Since the local branch closed down in June, I have no other options but to buy their products online. It is a good thing I only paid Php76 for a big box of orders. 🙂

Apart from getting a bottle of Feminine Wash, i also stock up on the little man’s shampoo and got myself a new bottle of Sunflower Seed Beauty Oil which I meant to use as an all-natural moisturizer. I have read great reviews about it and I would like to try it for myself. Plus, I also use it on the little man’s insect bites and other boo boo’s.

This time around, I opted for the 950ml bottle of Tough Love Liquid Detergent, as I did not like the laundry detergent much. Even though it is more economical, it was odorless and I prefer the citrus-y scent that the liquid detergent leaves on my little man’s clothes. Human Nature also recently came out with the new Clarifying Shampoo and I purchased a 200ml bottle to sample it.

These stocks ought to keep me covered for the next two months or so, I’ll have enough time to save up funds before the next shopping day arrives.

What natural and earth-friendly products have you purchased recently? I’d love to hear all about it in a comment below!  😀

Casa De Lorenzo’s Manila {Calamansi} Castille Soap

products, products review, natural soaps + bath products, earth-friendly products

I was sent a complimentary bottle of the new castile soap variant by Casa De Lorenzo not too long ago. They were providing free samples to their valued client at the time and I was glad I was one of the  20 people chosen. I simply love using their castille soap product line having tried the peppermint and lavender variants before.

The new scent, Manila, was released in June just in time for  the Philippine Independence Day celebration. It features one of Philippines’ pride, Calamansi, mixed with Virgin Coconut Oil, Rice Bran Oil and Palm Oil. The castille soap has a very faint Calamansi scent and it was simply a joy to use. Calamansi is also known to eliminate offensive odors, so you will definitely be smelling good after every use. It also leaves the skin feeling fresh after every bath without drying it as it thoroughly cleanses and conditions it.

What won me over, apart from its refreshing Calamansi smell, is the fact that this liquid soap is 100% natural and biodegradable. No worries of getting harmful chemicals onto your skin while you keep it clean and smooth! And now that I have mentioned it, I realized this is also perfect for the little man’s use! Am going to use this on him when I give him a bath tomorrow and see how it fares on his skin.

My 250ml bottle is almost half-empty, I use it almost every day and it is quite economical to use since I only have to squirt a small amount on my wash cloth each time. A bottle, by the way, costs Php350.

Thank you Casa De Lorenzo for this delightful treat and for providing those of us who strive to be greener, safer and healthier options!  :-))
