Weekends Made More Fun With Gardenia’s New Pocket Sandwich

Kids grow up all too quickly! I cannot believe my nephew will be turning 11 this month! This is why it is always a delight to spend the weekend with him and his sister. Apart from them catching up with tita, the little man also has an awesome time playing with his kuya and ate! Check out our photo enjoying #PocketFullOf #Cheers yesterday. Gardenia’s New Pocket Sandwich was a great hit this weekend! The sandwiches were gone a few minutes after this photo was taken. My nephew even asked for more to bring to school today. I have always wanted to make my little man’s weekend more memorable. The best way to do this is to visit my parents’ home so he can spend time with his cousins. It is always awesome to spend time with my niece and nephew since my son is an only child. Also, I miss them so much since we do not get to spend more time with them. They are both growing up too quickly and it breaks my heart to not be a daily part of their lives. My nephew, Sean, is also turning another year older this month {my niece, Shane, just turned 10 last month} and I am amazed at how he’s grown from the tiny little bundle of joy who was too fond of biting his tita that I’d end up going to work with bruises on my arms.

Eating is something I absolutely love and it is always a joy to discover new and delicious treats. Recently, my friend, Des, from Bites Of Love Ph, sent me a tub of her specialty snack, Salted Egg Potato Chips. The truth is, I exerted much effort not to devour all of its content as soon as I opened the tub. Good thing I was able to save some so Jared’s dad and my sibling can sample it, too! If not, am sure I can finish a tub {or two!} on my own in one sitting!:D

I love this savory and crunchy snack. The union of different flavors is a delight to the senses. I also love the curry leaves and the way it stayed crunchy even after a few days of opening the tub. Turning Japanese At The Nissin Souper Meal Food Trip Event

A portion of Robinsons Place Ermita was turned into a beautiful Japanese-themed food alley inspired by famous Japanese icons ~ the cherry blossom, the lantern festival, the Zen garden, and the torii. If I had not known better, I’d think I have actually disappeared and apparated in an alley somewhere in Japan.
