lovely pink book tokens

pink stuff, books,

I bought loads of these fairy tale books to be given away to my godchildren last Christmas from Learning is Fun {where I have signed up as a dealer}. Even my sisters asked me to get them some so they can give them away as gifts, too. Aren’t they the loveliest, hard-bound + very affordable, too!

The very pink books feature our most-loved fairy tales, including these ones on the photo, Cinderella + Goldilocks. I believe books are the most interesting things you can give to children {aside from toys, of course} as this will not only promote learning + entertain them as well, but it will also prove beneficial to expose them to reading + the love of books at a younger age. I want my son to be a book lover, too, so I am exposing him to different books this early šŸ™‚

Anyway, these books are supposed to be gifts to 2 lovely daughters of two of my mummy blogger friends. Unfortunately, I was not able to ship them just yet as when I went to the courier, they refused to ship the other items {it has liquid on it} that are supposed to be included in the package. I tried placing them on cardboard boxes {which my brother made especially for me} but the courier still refuse to accept them + I did not have the chance to go around + scour the city much in search for another courier service, so my sincerest apologies to sis Sheng {I was suppose to ship this in time for you + the little ones birthday :(} + Sigrid. Ā I will see to it that I ship them before the month ends.

jared’s pink addiction

It has been awhile since I posted something pink +, thanks to my little man {who is busy tearing the room down as he plays}, I have a bit of a free time to came up with a blog post {or two, hopefully!} before he decides to pull me away from the computer again šŸ™‚

One of the few things that my little Jared loves so much is this pink treat, Dutchmill, it is a milk yogurt strawberry-flavored drink which he just lurves to drink, about 3 times a day if he was in a row! He drinks it with too much gusto + enthusiasm that the whole pack will be gone after a few sips. If there is a Dutchmill-drinking contest, I will sign my baby up for it, am sure he will win first place šŸ™‚

Just thinking pink on this rainy + gloomy Saturday morning….

pf: pink birthday postcards

I’ve mentioned on several occasionsĀ about my new found passion of collecting postcards. Ā I’ve joined this postcrossing site where you can swap with other postcard enthusiasts from anywhere in the world. I’m also a member of our little group in Facebook {which was put up by our very own Mommy Ruby + Mommy Willa}, the Postcrossing Enthusiasts group, where I get to keep in touch with people of like minds. We have members from other parts of the globe, too, like the Netherlands + Morocco.

As part of our swapping schemes, we are to send every birthday celebrant a birthday postcard {of course, it is not mandatory, but a lot of members have been sending birthday postcards since we’ve put our birthdays there!}. I’ve only sent a couple of these + plan to send one to each of the celebrants this September, just so I can put on a smile on their faces on their big days šŸ™‚

Some members have sent me birthday postcards the past weeks + they totally put a big smile on my face when I received them. I am most touched by the sweet gesture + when I got these lovely pink Hello Kitty postcards from Mommy Clang, I just bawled over! They are the cutest, + bless her for being very thoughtful, she even sent me two of them!

Look how pretty my birthday postcards are:

They even came with these equally cute stamps:

Now, I’m wanting to go to Japan just so I can hoard on these kawaii cards šŸ˜›
