This is my entry to the Week 16 of the Techie She Lucky Blogger Weekly Giveaways. This week’s prize is $10 paypal credits from Mel Cole of The Jolly Toes.

My jolly little man has all the reason in the world to be exactly that! He met his favorite, Jollibee, when we went out last weekend to do some errands. The smile on my toddler’s face upon seeing his favorite character is simply priceless {sorry it wasn’t captured on this photo}.

It is not everyday that you see the mascot waving at you + dancing for your entertainment. He usually contents himself with just shaking the hands of the red life-size statue standing in front of this popular fastfood. + I tell you, he will stay there for several minutes marveling at the statue, as if waiting for it to spring to life + play with him 😉 + he does that everytime we encounter this big bee in the mall or anywhere else.

This mum is $5 richer, thank you Momgen!

i won, giveaways

I was so lucky to win a couple of giveaways last month {my birthday month}, including Momgen Small Giveaway. + although I did not get to win any of the make-up items or the lovely handmade cards that Momgen sells on her Etsy shop, I got to win $5 + it made my Paypal account happy! 😀

See the manual raffle Momgen + her cute son, Chris, did last August 06 here. This is my second time to win in her giveaways as I won a couple of beautiful cards + a pair of lovely pearl earrings from her last summer, too. Which reminds me, I have yet to post it here! Akk! I have quite a number of giveaway winnings so expect a rain of thank you posts if I find enough time.

Hello again + happy Wednesday everyone, it has been awhile since I last posted on our Nice To Know You Wednesdays, mea culpa! It was either I was too busy with other online stuffs or up to my neck with mummy chores, but I am glad to be back + I hope you will join me again this time around.

Now on with today’s Nice To Know You Wednesday + here are the questions of the week:

My answers:

My top 5 pet peeves include: {1} people who blow their horns like rabid on the road, {2} people who bang public bathroom doors so hard {it is just the most annoying thing!}, {3} people who seem to forget their manners + niceties, {4} lazy people, + finally, {5} people who cannot wait for their turn + cuts in front of a long line.
I am a Virgo + according to Wiki:“Virgos are reputed to be adept at languages, to possess a love of literature, a deep interest in history and statistics, and a good memory for details…a flair for discrimination and eloquence with words has given Virgos a reputation for civility and good manners.”I will give up on good memory for details as my CS operation dulled that faculty, but I must say I love languages + words + literature, so I guess my sign fits me to a T 😉
My all-time favorite TV show would have to be The X-Files, I can watch it over + over {including the re-runs + the replays of the re-runs :D} + marvel at how Agents Mulder + Scully investigates a recent paranormal case + solve mind-bending situations. I also love the twists in the endings. If I could, I’d download all the episodes + watch it the whole day…
For the next 30 days, I plan to create a travel + a foodie blog {it was put on hold due to the recent turn of events + I can’t wait to start with those projects, as if I have the time to update them all!}. I also plan to enroll in a formal yoga class {I have planned it in January, but, alas, I do not have the time + the energy to push through with it}, I am now in the process of coaxing my little sister to join me, so everything is still up in the air, really! I also plan to get us all settled in the new abode {I did mention we were moving houses, right?}. Our big move is slated this Thursday + I just hope the weather cooperates so we can bring in as much of our stuffs into the new house + get all that we needed to be comfortable + well-adjusted into our new rented space. I also intend to catch up on my postcard swaps after that as changing address is keeping me from swapping with new postcard enthusiast that I’ve met through our online group.
My favorite movie as of the moment will have to be The Machinist featuring Christian Bale, + although I regretted watching it with little Jared around because of the cuss words + the sensitive images, it was a sure-fire thriller with mind-boggling + heart-stopping twists. You should watch it, I am sure you will like it 😉
