This mum is headed south-bound last Saturday afternoon, with the little man + mommy blogger friend, Willa, along with her little man, Kendrick, to visit Krispy Kreme in Alabang. The newly-opened store is also the very first branch in the south + the first to debut Krispy Kreme’s 75th birthday look + the company’s latest delicious offering ~ the Baked Creations, the first store Metro Manila to do so. The Alabang Town Center branch shall be serving the brand’s signature Baked Creations fresh from the oven, everyday. That is on top of dishing out Krispy Kreme’s premium treats like the world-famous Glazed Doughnuts + the signature Coffee.
The little man is giddy with delight + excitement at the first sight of other little children + balloons. He would have none to do with the hat, though, + simply refused to put it on his head, no matter how I cajoled him.
It was also a fine day to catch up with blogger friends that I haven’t seen much lately, including sis Vance, Millette + Daryll, mommy Chris, the very pregnant, Bedai, + the über-sexy Mommy Eihdra, who came with her little Zee.
Apart from sampling their baked creations + all the other goodies, Krispy Kreme also made us try our hand at designing our own doughnut. I finally managed to snatch the little man to make a beeline for the long queue after he got tired of too much running around. + thanks to the warm + friendly crew {sorry if I forgot your name :(}, we managed to create one, using only one hand whilst the little man is on the other. 🙂
So, how to make your very own Krispy Kreme treats?
- put on your Krispy Kreme hat {for effects ;)}
- put on those gloves
- dip your plain doughnut into the yummy, gooey brown concoction. Make sure to dip half-way through to coat up most of the doughnut’s surface
- choose from an assortment of toppings + sprinkle a generous amount onto your doughnot
- enjoy your doughnut. Best enjoyed when shared with family + friends
It was really an interesting day. Even the mums enjoyed thoroughly. Unfortunately, I was not able to sample one of the Baked Creations, but I will be sure to get some the next time we go out!
By the way, the Alabang Town Center branch is open from 7am to 11pm, so be sure to check it out the next time you’re around the area, right? Don’t forget to visit the Krispy Kreme Website + follow Chloe Krispy Kreme Phils on Facebook to know more about the latest on Krispy Kreme’s 75th birthday.
Thank you’s go out to Blanch, of Geiser Maclang Communications Inc., for the invite + to sis Willa for the photos 🙂
