mum's thoughts, Lent, lenten reflections
I have stumbled upon this beautiful Lenten message which I would love to share with you. This is a list of things to give up. Very practical, in my opinion, + something we ought to ponder on this Lenten Season. Here goes:

Give up complaining —– focus on gratitude.

Give up pessimism —– become an optimist.

Give up harsh judgments —– think kindly thoughts.

Give up worry —– trust Divine Providence.

Give up discouragement —– be full of hope.

Give up bitterness —- turn to forgiveness.

Give up hatred —– return good for evil.

Give up negativism —– be positive.

Give up anger —– be more patient.

Give up pettiness —– become mature.

Give up gloom —– enjoy the beauty that is all around you.

Give up jealousy —– pray for trust.

Give up gossiping —– control your tongue.

Give up sin —– turn to virtue.

Give up giving up —– hang in there!

Am not really a religious + I probably do not know most of the Holy Week practice + customs, + the most participation I can give to this week’s observances is to watch those touching movies on the tellie, but one thing I know for sure, though, that The All uses this season to remind us all about one simple message from Him:

Lent, mum's thoughts, lenten reflections
