We mums are very meticulous in what skin care products to use on our babies’ delicate skin. As much as we can, we only want the purest + the gentlest of products to touch our little ones skin to avoid allergies + irritation. I am just glad that there are a number of these products out in the market which we can choose from. One such product is Cetaphil. + boy, mumwrites is so delighted to be one of the Cetaphil Blogger Friends!

Cetaphil, invented in 1947 as a compounding vehicle for dermatological remedies, has been known to solve skin woes for 65 years now + is, in fact, the most prescribed brand of cleansers and moisturizers by dermatologists and pediatricians in the country. Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser was also named the Best Facial Cleanser at the Cosmopolitan Beauty Awards 2012.

I have been familiar with Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser, as me+ my sisters have used it before. I have also used it on occasions for my little one as prescribed by his pediatrician, but not aware that they actually have a complete line of skin care products for every skin type. That is why I am really glad that our friend from Cetaphil, Joel Andrada, was generous enough to send samples of these products so that I can try them myself

Apart from their very popular cleanser, here are some of the other Cetaphil products I thought you might be interested in:

Daily Facial Moisturizer

  • this is for all skin types

Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion
  • this is a luxurious lotion this is especially formulated to provide everyday intense moisture for dry to very dry skin.
  • also ideal for sensitive skin
  • it contains Epidermal Replenishing Complex 5 {ERC5}, which is a unique combination of 5 key ingredients that protects dry skin + enhances hydration
  • it leaves the body feeling soft, hydrated + smooth
Moisturizing Cream
  • this is an everyday moisturizer for long-lasting hydration
  • dermatologist-recommended + fragrance-free
  • it also helps relieve baby’s dry skin
  • this is best for facial + body use, alike!
What I love about Cetaphil

I love that these products are dermatologically-tested + are gentle enough to use on baby’s skin. I also love that they are non-comedogenic so you won’t have to worry about clogging those pores as you cleanse, hydrate + moisturize your skin. I also find the non-greasy after-feel + the fragrance-free feature a big plus!

I am now back to using the Gentle Cleanser + am also using it on the little man’s face. I’ve have also used the Daily Facial Moisturizer since I received them + I must say it really is effective in hydrating my face. I used it after every bath to retain moisture on my face. My sister, on the other hand, is using the Daily Advance Ultra Hydrating Lotion + was so happy to note that she loved the non-greasy after feel + how it makes her skin less dry + leaves it feeling soft + moisturized! I cannot wait to use the Moisturizing Cream on the little man! ;)

Of course you don’t just have to take my word for it, so I am giving you a chance to win these Cetaphil products so you can try them out, too! ;)
