Things To Do This Summer: Book A Dentist Appointment

Visiting the dentist, Orem Dentist or others located locally, is one of the top things on my agenda this month and since school is out, I bet it was also included in most mums and children’s summary of things to do this summer, given that they can do this on an ordinary school day when both mums and children are buys with a gazillion of school-related things to do. It is in my agenda, too, and if I get lucky and find a pediatric dentist, I will most definitely book my little man for his very first dental appointment real soon.

The last time I visited the dentist was when I was a few months into my pregnancy. I know! It was ages ago that is why I am putting this on top of my list of things-to-do this month. I have actually planned to do this earlier this year, but since there is just no way I can sit still in a dentist’s chair while keeping an eye on my rambunctious little man, I put the plan off for the longest time. However there is no way I can put this off for much longer as my teeth are now screaming for a dentist. I will not go into the gory details now lest I put you off and leave this page at once, but I know that after missing all my dentist appointments, my chompers need a considerable amount of cleaning and scraping here and there to keep them happy.

Unfortunately not most people miss their dental appointment due to lack of time. Some people, grown ups even, deliberately miss visiting their dentist for fear of actual going. They dread the humming instruments the dentist use to clean their teeth and the mere thought of sitting in a dentist’s chair for an hour or two, gives them the shivers. Oh well, it wasn’t the most pleasant of experience, true. But, think of the many good things you can get from visiting your dentist and I am sure the nervous feeling and the jitters will be gone.

The initiative to go to the dentist will set as a positive example to young children, who are most likely to be more afraid than most grown up. A sign showing that mum is excite to visit the dentist will give him the impression that a dentist’s office is probably a good place to visit. Apart from having your chompers cleaned, eliminating tooth decay, or getting rid of damaged teeth, thereby improving your smile and boosting your confidence, too,  you can also get a chock-full of great oral hygiene tips from the dentist on how you can care for your pearly whites, and if you are lucky, you might just even get free toothpaste and toothbrush samples, too!

This is a sponsored post however, all the points and views are 100% my own.
