Back To School Blast Giveaway

Back to School Blast

Welcome to the Back to School Blast!

Getting your family prepared to head back to school, can be difficult especially after a long, fun-filled summer. Here are a few of our favorite Back to School Tips to help you along the way.

  1. Back-to-School Supplies Checklist – Backpack? Check. Pencils? Check. Safety scissors? Not Yet. Use the same checklist each time you head out to grab supplies, to keep track of what you have already purchased and the things you still need to. These are also handy if you have more than one child. Simply print 2, 3, 4 list and add their name to the top.
  2. Practice waking up early a few weeks before school actually opens ~ For the little ones to have an easy transition from vacation mode to early-morning school waking hours, practice waking up early a week before their return to school. That way, by the time you actually need to wake up early in time for school, the children have already mastered the task.
  3. Label Them School Stuff ~ Label your children’s stuff, especially for the pre-schoolers, so they will have an easy time telling their school stuff from that of their classmates. For those who cannot read yet it is ideal to put a photo of them or of their favorite cartoon character so they can easily distinguish their things.
  4. Easy Lunchbox Meals ~For easy lunchbox meal ideas Stock up on easy yet healthy lunchbox food item so you won’t have trouble prepping tasty meals for your children to bring to school. If you can plan your lunchbox meal for a week or two, all the better.

  1. Homeworks and school projects may require you a lot of shopping trips to the nearby bookstore. To lessen your bookstore visits, you can buy in advance all the essential things needs for school projects such as bond paper, art paper, glue, crayons and colored pens, folders, tapes, and other art supplies.

  2. My best back to school tip is start buying school supplies in the summer when they are usually on clearance and that way it will save you a bunch of money!!

  3. Recycle Vix! For 3 years now, I’d been recycling what can be recycled like the plastic folder, plastic envelope etc. Saved quite a lot. 😀

  4. I recycle old notebooks, papers, school supplies. I keep old books of my older kids so the youngest could still use them as reviewers or to color the unused portions.
