I was lucky to be one of the select bloggers invited to attend the opening of the very first Asian Secret Whitening Spa branch at SM City North EDSA’s The Block. It was one of those rare occasions when I was allowed by the little man to go out on my own. Luckily my sister, Isabel, was also available at the time to take over child-minding duties.

All about Asian Secrets

Asian Secrets Lulur Body Scrubs is derived from the Indonesian’s lulur, an Indonesian ritual originally intended for the bride-to-be to beautify, smoothen and whiten the skin before the wedding day. This beauty treatment originated from the Royal Palaces of Java. So imagine how luxurious and relaxing this ritual can be.

Taking after the ritual it was named after, the Lulur Body Scrubs provide royal treatment for the skin and give a number of benefits, too. Firstly, it gently exfoliates and removes dead skin cells to smoothen it and give it a radiant glow. It also moisturizes and leave skin with a light fragrant scent. Finally, frequent use of the product reduces skin pigmentation and evens out skin tone by getting rid of dark patches, especially in those areas which are prone to blemish, i.e. the elbows, knees, armpits and the areas between thighs.

Now imagine getting these skin benefits when you visit the Asian Secrets Whitening Spa?

The Asian Secrets Whitening Spa

On 27 July, Asian Secrets Whitening Spa opened up its first ever branch at the 5th Floor of The Block, in SM City North EDSA. We had a tour of their lovely and relaxing place which can accommodate up to 5 people at the same time.

The brilliant mind behind Unilab came up with the idea of putting up their own Spa where people can experience the royal treatment that is lulur, using their very own Asian Secrets Body Scrubs product line. Everyone deserves to be treated like a royalty, right? I know I do!

A couple of participating bloggers jumped at the chance to try what this new spa has to offer. I cannot wait to try it out myself, but I had to reschedule for some other time since I need to be home early so that my babysitter can also attend to her affairs! :)
