Awesome time at yesterday’s #SPExpressYourself event. The families enjoyed the cool booths, the goodies from @sm_cinema + @krispykremeph, the inspiring talks on Bento-making by Chef Rosell + about coloring + adult coloring pages by Mark Dean Lim of @colormedoodle. We were invited to join Smart Parenting, SM Cinema, and Snack Time’s Express Yourself Workshop held over the weekend at the Atrium Activity Center of SM Aura Premier. Mums, dads, and kiddos were treated to an afternoon of fun, learning, freebies, plus a free advanced-screening of the latest Disney Pixar film, Inside Out. weekends, SM Malls,Smart Parenting, movie date, movies, SM Cinema — mums enjoyed some pampering at the Bioessence Booth, tasty snack + refreshments at the Snack Time Booth, had their photos taken at the Inside Out Photo Booth, and sampled delicious and healthy shakes at the Herbal Life Booth

It is always a joy to be in the company of mums and children having a wonderful afternoon together. Smart Parenting and SM Cinema prepared wonderful treats for all the participants to enjoy, including an overflowing supply of popcorn and colorful refreshments from Snack Time!

One of my fondest memories of childhood is spending those summer afternoons in the living room playing scrabble with my siblings and my parents. It is one of our favorite family bonding activities and we learned about new and difficult words together through that board game. There are also other popular board games at that time, including Snakes And Ladders and Chess, but Scrabble is easily our favorite game! One of these days I am going to get a new scrabble set so that I can pass on this fun tradition to my little man.

Nowadays, board games are taking the back seat because of the popularity of game consoles and hand held gadgets where you can easily and conveniently play more challenging, exciting, and interactive games. These games also have very catchy and colorful top-of-the-line animation that captivates the players even more.
