It is rather sad that we often take for granted the very things that most deserve our gratitude. Often times, we feel like we have to wait for the grand, the elusive dream until we become grateful. In truth, it was being grateful for the small things ~ like that little child who smiled at you on the street earlier or the out-of-the-blue kisses from your little man ~ that we attract the grand things to come into our lives.
Today, I invite you to not wait for the special or extraordinary, but to be grateful for the minute, mundane things we are fortunate to enjoy daily.
This week, I am grateful for:
:rainbow: a visit from my siblings
:rainbow: my little man happily counting down the days 😀
:rainbow: earning opportunities for our blogs
:rainbow: reading Rurouni Kenshin series and enjoying it with my little reader
:rainbow: being productive
:rainbow: ticking numerous items off my to-do list
:rainbow: sunnier days
:rainbow: catching up on my laundry
:rainbow: our nightly meditation
:rainbow: lazy afternoons perfect for binge-watching on Netflix
:rainbow: August holidays
:rainbow: yummy barbecue
:rainbow: finally managing to tidy up and rearrange my little pantry
:rainbow: long weekends
What are you grateful for today?
