Held at D’ Cup Coffee Republic on April 14, 2018 at 1:00 – 5:00 p.m., this learning event is for newbie homeschoolers and those who are exploring this educational option.

Homeschooling in the Philippines has slowly but surely gained popularity in the last 15-20 years. Previously seen as an educational method that was only available to young actors and actresses and the elite or rich, it is now a viable alternative to sending children to traditional schools. What is homeschooling and how is it done? Michelle Padrelanan plans to answer that and other questions pertaining to homeschooling that will give the attendee the confidence to homeschool their child.

Parents will also learn the pros and cons of homeschooling, how to start homeschooling, how to craft their family’s homeschool mission statement, how to handle major life events while homeschooling and where to enroll. Salu-Salo at the 5th Filipino Bloggers Network Get Together Party

It was a night of fun, surprises and sharing during the annual Get Together party of the Filipino Bloggers Network {FBN}, one of the most active bloggers group in the country, last December 12 at Salu Restaurant in Quezon City.

With almost 2,000 members across the country, FBN continues to expand as it provides a venue for Pinoy bloggers to interact with other members through discussions and posting opportunities from different brands and PR partners as moderated by co-admins Divine Reyes and Richard Mamuyac. MetroBuzz Bloggers, led by its admin Lariza Garcia, even made the event more fun-filled and exciting in its fifth year.

Salu, fast becoming a popular Filipino restaurant, serve as the venue where FBN members took the opportunity to share great food and drinks, games, and of course, stories and experiences among fellow online writers and influencers. The few hours of fun-filled event were not enough thus the next get-together of the group promises to be bigger and better.
