Happening at the Megatrade Hall 3 of SM Megamall on 14-16 November, 2016, this 3-day sale event will gather the country’s top Fashion, Beauty, and Lifestyle manufacturers and retailers. Aside from the fashion and beauty expo, there will also be talks and makeover demos by notable fashion and image experts such as MAC Cosmetics, and local Fashion Designers and Fashion schools, aw well as a make-up competition featuring some of the country’s up-and-coming make-up artists.

Admission to this event is FREE so it is very ideal to gather your friends and family, and shop for the best beauty and fashion finds while helping empower the nation one entrepreneurial Filipina at a time.

FYI™ COMING TO ASIA IN FALL 2014

A+E NETWORKS ASIA REBRANDS BIO CHANNEL TO FYI IN SOUTHEAST ASIA, HONG KONG AND TAIWAN

BIO™ Channel will rebrand to FYI™, a contemporary lifestyle network reflecting how people live their lives today, across Cambodia, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Macau, Mongolia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, the Pacific Islands, Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan. The announcement was made today by Alan Hodges, Managing Director, Asia Pacific, A+E Networks.

BIO was also rebranded to FYI in the US on July 8th.

For your inspiration, for your imagination or for your innovation, FYI will be a personalized experience for each viewer.  The network embraces the way audiences really live their lives – proudly-hyphenated and not constrained by one passion or interest. Electrolux Makes Saving + Sharing Delightful-E Simple

It has been a while since I last attended a blogging event ever since the little man started going to big school this year. That is why it is such a delight to be out and joining fellow mum bloggers and members of trad media for the recent Electrolux event. Besides it has been some time since I got invites from fellow blogger Ferds, from FleishmanHillard and was not able to attend that I did not have the heart to say no this time around! ^_^

The Electrolux Delightful-E Simple launch was held at Le Jardin ~ The Fort, in Taguig City. Hosted by my favorite DJ, Delamar Arias, the occasion was also graced by Electrolux Brand Ambassadors Chef and mum Rosebud Benitez, Chef Bruce Lim, Mommy Mundo’s Janice Villanueva and celebrity mum and top endorser Cheska Garcia-Kramer. Each shared personal experiences on why they simply love Electrolux appliances and how these products help make their lives easier and simpler.

The audience was first treated to a delightful meal with seared Foie Gras, grilled Salmon Fillet, various cheeses and dark chocolate mousse for dessert before the program commenced.

Delightful-E Simple To Share

Any worthy cause that benefits children is all right in this mum’s book, so I was really excited to be part of the Electrolux Delightful-E Simple Event. And I am happy to announce that  Electrolux’ annual clothes donation drive is back this year and with an exciting twist. While Electrolux will continue to collect and wash donated pre-loved clothes, they will add a personal touch to this worthwhile advocacy.

In partnership with Gawad Kalinga’s Trese, Electrolux will add extra warmth to the pre-loved collected clothes for calamity-stricken survivors. This time around, they will transform unusable donated clothes {like gowns, costumes, toga and the likes ~ yes there are people who donate these things!} into lovely and colorful quilts for new born babies from orphanages and other communities.

Quilts are originally made to tell the story of each piece of fabric sewn to complete it, the Delightful-E Simple To Share quilts will lovingly document a story of underprivileged mothers of Trese as they help newborns in need. This new twist aims to show that sharing goes beyond donating clothes. It distinguishes the difference between giving and sharing, and inspires people to impart a piece of themselves as they share.

Those in attendance are all encouraged to do their simple part and were given pieces of colorful clothes to write their messages on and place the Delightful-E Simple Pledge Wall to show their support for the Electrolux clothes donation drive.

In the same event Electrolux launches the Savings Calculator, in line with their aim to help mums save money and time by making their day-to-day tasks delightfully simple and easy. This is a very user-friendly Facebook App that was designed to help mum track her laundry expenses, as well as her savings. With this handy app mum learns about how much she can save when she decide to choose smarter ways to get the laundry done.

Electrolux also launches contests and giveaways on Facebook and Instagram in line with their Delightful-E Simple To Save and Share Campaigns and I will tell you all about in a separate post so that I can include every detail on how you can join and get the chance to win a new Electrolux Washing Machine for your homes! ^_^
