Mum Finds: Bevara Sealers From Ikea

household products, products, mum finds

I think products from Ikea are simply ingenious, won’t you agree? I have a couple of Ikea items, including a non-skid rug, a non-stick pan and a bunch of colorful glasses, plates and cutlery for the little man, which I purchased through one of those online groupon sites and I just love ’em! If there is a local Ikea nearby, and if I can afford it, I’d probably splurge on interesting items regularly! Oh well, fat chance, I know.

Recently we went to a local Waltermart branch in Plaridel and chanced upon these colorful Ikea Bevara sealers and I instantly like them. They are really useful in sealing left over chips, breads, cereals, milk, condiments and whatnot. I have a couple of cute sealers which I got years ago and I’d love to have a few more to add to my collection. It might come pricey at Php249 for 30 pieces, but it is a good thing my sister agreed that we chip in so we can buy a pack! I am one happy camper. 🙂

I cannot wait to use my new sealers. The little man beat me to it, though, and went on to play with them before I can put them away. He was also probably smitten by their lovely pastel colors!

Mum Finds: Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel Stage 2

mum finds, products, mum going green, products for children, products for toddlers, personal hygiene products, safe baby products, earth-friendly products,

Oh this is another weekly theme I have been meaning to share here, Mum Finds, where I will share with you products or services that I have recently stumbled upon which I thought you might want to buy or avail for your children or your family, too. For this week, I am sharing Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel which I have discovered a few months back in the display rack of a local Mercury Drug, where I was buying a bunch of meds for the little man at the time. Jared has been using the Pigeon Children Toothpaste for the longest time and I thought it was time to switch to another brand, hopefully a greener alternative this time around. I have been using Tiny Buds Rice Powder on the little man for a long while now and when I saw this tooth gel I knew I had to try it, too!

Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gel in a nutshell

mum finds, products, mum going green, products for children, products for toddlers, personal hygiene products, safe baby products, earth-friendly products,

This is a safer training tooth gel for children aged 3 years and up. This is a Xylitol tooth gel that helps to prevent tooth decay and promote healthy gums. It has a low-foaming formula that helps children to form a good oral hygiene habit at their toddler stage, as well as introducing them to the mild, minty taste of tooth gel. This kiddie tooth gel is also free from SLS, paraben, fluoride or artificial color, which makes it safe for little ones when they accidentally swallow it.

This tooth gel retails at Php99 per 55gram tube and comes in two variants, Stage 1 Non-foaming Formula in Straberry Banana flavor and Stage 2 Low-Foaming Formula in Tutti Fruitti flavor.

Apart from Mercury Drugs branches, Tiny Fangs Kiddie Tooth Gels are also available in Baby Company stores nationwide, as well as in Landmark in Trinoma.

Why mums would love this product?

Everything that is green is all right in my book. The fact that this is a natural tooth gel puts my OC-ish mum’s mind at ease. It is safe for infants and toddlers and is also made from food-safe ingredients and is also FDA-approved. The little man have yet to get accustomed to the minty taste, however, but am sure he will get used to it in time.

Mum Finds: Del Monte Fruitastic, A Fruity Baon Idea

feeding the picky eater, food, mum finds, Robinsons Supermarket

The little man loves pineapple juice so much that I always make it a point to have a pitcher in our fridge all the time. I am considering bringing along his favorite drink whenever we are on the go and whenever he goes to playschool that is why I was so excited to find out about Del Monte Fruitastic Pineapple Juice the last time we were doing our grocery duties at the local Robinsons Supermarket.

Now I can easily stash a pack or two of this pineapple goodness sans the mess. I can easily put some on Jared’s school bag so he can have his daily dose of pineapple juice during recess time. It even has a buy-4-and-get-1-free promo at that time so I readily added a pack to our grocery cart.

Hopefully the little man enjoys this pineapple juice in tetra pack as much as he enjoys the canned ones.
