Mum Shares: Cleene CLIO Makes Clean Teeth Possible For Families This World Oral Health Day 2022

Maintaining a good oral hygiene has never been more important than when the pandemic breaks. Since a visit to a dental clinic is not a priority, we needed to care for our teeth even more while at home. This is why it is a must that we instill a good oral hygiene to our children who are prone to cavities.

A good oral hygiene is a vital part of a person’s health and over-all well-being. Studies show that poor dental habits often lead to diseases, including high blood pressure, diabetes, heart disease, and even cancer. This is why I keep on teaching my little man to develop a good oral hygiene by brushing at least twice a day and making sure to brush his teeth before going to bed. I am also on the look out for a kid-friendly mouthwash for him to use. And, since pandemic alert levels have relaxed since and children are allowed to go out now, I immediately booked Jared for a dental appointment. His very first since the pandemic broke.

Health + Wellness: What Causes Crooked Teeth?

Crooked or misaligned teeth are actually very common in both children and adults, and if they are not causing you any serious issues with your dental health, then there may not be a need to correct them other than for cosmetic reasons. Both milk teeth and adult teeth can develop crooked or become more crooked over time. Sometimes, there’s not much that you can do about it. But why do some people have teeth that are naturally straighter than others? Here are some of the most common risk factors for crooked or misaligned teeth.

Genetics

Genetics can often determine whether or not somebody ends up with crooked or misaligned teeth. If one or both parents had or have teeth that are misaligned, overcrowded, or crooked, then there’s a higher risk that the child will also deal with the same issues.

Poor Dental Care

Poor dental care can also lead to teeth becoming crooked over time. This can also be a problem for people who have naturally straight teeth or people who have had their teeth previously straightened using braces or aligners. If you are considering getting braces fitted, a good orthodontist like the-oakwoodclinic.co.uk can provide advice on how to keep your teeth straight and in good health into the future. Failing to keep up with dental hygiene or visit your dentist for regular check-ups can lead to teeth misalignment occurring as a result of untreated gum disease or cavities.

Health + Wellness: 5 Ways A Smile Makeover Can Transform Your Life

When you look in the mirror and smile, do you like what you see? If the answer is no, you may be embarrassed about your teeth, which can impact you in all sorts of ways, from forming friendships, to going on dates, or attending job interviews. If you don’t like the way your teeth look, now is the time to do something about it. A smile makeover can transform your life for the better, so here are some of the ways cosmetic dentistry can do just that.

More Confidence

If you’re the kind of person who likes to fade into the background because of your teeth, your confidence may be at an all-time low. The idea of meeting new people may fill you with dread, but if you’re unhappy with your teeth, cosmetic dentistry like dental implants can vastly boost your confidence and self-esteem. When you finish treatment, you won’t be able to stop smiling, which will help you feel happier in your skin.

Better Oral Health

While there are tons of mental health benefits associated with a smile makeover, your oral health will benefit too. This is because, once your teeth are aligned, you’ll have an easier time brushing and flossing, meaning plaque will have a harder time sticking around. Your oral health should be your top priority, so once you undergo treatment and have the smile of your dreams, you’ll find it easier to look after your teeth and gums.

Great First Impression

Whether you’re off on a first date, attending a job interview, or heading to a social event, first impressions matter. If you come across as friendly, smiley, and bubbly, this can elevate how others view you. Once you opt for treatment and achieve the perfect smile, this will create an excellent first impression, and boost your personal and professional life.
