Mum Inspires: Of Simple Joys + Junes

June seemed to have crept up on us too quickly and there is no other choice but to say goodbye to summer, albeit reluctantly. The hot and humid afternoons are slowly giving way to colder climate and soft showers, which makes my house plants very happy. One of my simple joys!

Speaking of simple joys, I find myself regularly seeking for them. Stacking on one simple joy after another, filling my cup until it overflows.

Some call these glimmers, the simple yet lovely moments that brightens our days or lifts our mood even in the midst of a not-so-good day.

Mum Inspires: Of Mays + Musings

The last month sure zoomed by all too quickly. I cannot believe that it is May yet again. May may be a bitter month for my family but there is no reason not to hope for a kinder, better, lighter, May this year.

It seems that the arrival of May put a halt to summer-yet-in-full-swing. The other day, the summer monsoon begun and brought rain. It was a welcome change from the sweltering hot and humid weather and I welcome the idea of not having to water my plants. Another chore checked off from my seemingly undending to-do list.

I do hope this new month finds you very well, mummas. Allow me to greet you Happy Mother’s Day in advance and wish you all the rest and relaxation that you ever need to survive this month!
