Having trouble deciding which article of clothing to buy your little ones or your ‘tweens this Christmas season? Your woes are finally solved as Snoopy unveiled its latest hip, trendy and colorful fashion line just in time for the holidays through its Holiday Street Fair. The little man + I, with Jared’s dad in tow, trooped to the New Activity Center in Glorietta 1 to get first dibs on what Snoopy has to offer for the little ones this season. Pardon my ignorance, but I have yet to get a Snoopy item for Jared and I am more than delighted to know that there are really loads of fashionable Snoopy clothing items that will suite my little man perfectly in time for the merry days! 🙂

Although the event started later than scheduled, the children models hitting the ramp never failed to capture the audience’s attention and every particularly cute model who don a rather trendy outfit almost always gets a round of applause and the occasional ooh and aah. We were also treated for a series of performances, including one compelling act by Yoyo master Joshua Rafael Davis and upcoming singer Miguel Aguila. Of course, not to be outdone, Snoopy himself did a couple of dance numbers, much to the delight of the children in the audience, especially my little man. Those who managed to get VIP passes were also treated to a buffet of refreshments and hor d’oeuvres, as well as fun and enjoyable activities for the kiddos. Later in the program, celebrity mum, Gladys Reyes-Sommereux, with her 3 beautiful kids in tow, also graced the runway.

An Afternoon with mini business tycoons at the Junior Preneur

We spent our Saturday afternoon hopping from one shop to another at the Junior Preneur {https://juniorpreneur.org/} bazaar held at the People’s Village in Tiendesitas two Saturdays ago. I did mention this event in a previous post. What sets this bazaar apart from all the other bazaars we’ve visited before? You will see mini entrepreneur + little business tycoons in the making manning their shops, arranging their wares on their respective booths and peddling their products to bazaar goers. It is a bazaar full of fledgling businessmen and women who will be at the forefront of our business industries in the future. To say that the little man and I had a wonderful and different experience is such an understatement!

Firstly, we enjoyed browsing through shops upon shops of clothes, books, toys, Christmas decors, paper products and other wares. I bought a pair of this cute Frogger scissors for the little man from the Crayola booth. I also got this crafty motorcycle photo frame after the little man talk me to it. And look, we even got this cute photoshopped photo as a freebie! 😉

Food and refreshments were also available for the bazaar patrons and delicious items like waffles, mini cakes, candies, as well as chocolates and cotton candies were on sale, too. You can also find food for lunch and beverages from a bevy of shops in the bazaar.

But what seemed to be the little man’s favorite will have to be the Zoomanity Group’s booth. Zoomanity is the group behind popular attractions like Zoobic Safari and Zoocobia. In fact, they brought along a pair of animals from Subic, including this colorful parrot, an owl and this very lovable dog! They even tagged along 2 of their colorful mascots, and they, along with the pair of parrot, gave quite a splendid performance that all the tykes enjoyed. Jared had a grand time petting and holding the parrot, too! And the photos say it all. You can check out more of our photos here 😉

It was the first time we visited the People’s Village and Tiendesitas and I must say it was an afternoon well spent and I won’t hesitate to tag along the little man for next year’s Junior Preneur {www.facebook.com/JuniorPreneur}. 😉
