Replenished My Human Heart Nature Stash

online shopping, products, Human Heart Nature, mum going green, earth-friendly products, beauty products, personal hygiene products, cleaning products

I have recently received funds on my Paypal account and it was rather timely as I have just ran out of my Human Heart Nature’s feminine wash and laundry detergent, so off I went to shop for HHN’s products. Since the local branch closed down in June, I have no other options but to buy their products online. It is a good thing I only paid Php76 for a big box of orders. 🙂

Apart from getting a bottle of Feminine Wash, i also stock up on the little man’s shampoo and got myself a new bottle of Sunflower Seed Beauty Oil which I meant to use as an all-natural moisturizer. I have read great reviews about it and I would like to try it for myself. Plus, I also use it on the little man’s insect bites and other boo boo’s.

This time around, I opted for the 950ml bottle of Tough Love Liquid Detergent, as I did not like the laundry detergent much. Even though it is more economical, it was odorless and I prefer the citrus-y scent that the liquid detergent leaves on my little man’s clothes. Human Nature also recently came out with the new Clarifying Shampoo and I purchased a 200ml bottle to sample it.

These stocks ought to keep me covered for the next two months or so, I’ll have enough time to save up funds before the next shopping day arrives.

What natural and earth-friendly products have you purchased recently? I’d love to hear all about it in a comment below!  😀

My Second Shopping Haul From Lazada

simple pleasures, online shopping, pr, Jared's nook
all for the little man

After ordering a bunch of items late last month, I immediately placed my second order from Lazada.ph shortly after. This time, just to save time on deciding which items to buy, I opted for the little man’s essentials since I am running low on supplies, anyway. I got a couple of Tiny Buds Rice Powder, 2 pieces of Light-up Firefly Toothbrush and threw in a bottle of Tiny Buds Scratch Off! {which I wanted to try on the little man}. I also included this lovely Cars2 tin lunch box that features Finn McMissile and Tow Mater, which I am sure my little one will absolutely love! I also included this cool purple watch {as the little man’s old yellow Spalding watch just got broken recently}.

As expected, the package was delivered at home after two days and they are placed neatly in a box with the tin lunch box painstakingly wrapped in a wad of bubble wraps! A clear indication that people at Lazada will go through the trouble of packing their items neatly to reach their destinations safe and sound and in A-Okay condition. Two thumbs up! 🙂

Thank you Lazada for another pleasurable shopping experience and I look forward to shopping with you again!  :-))

By the way, our friends at Lazada have another good news to share. Read the rest of the press release to know more:

Singapore, August 13, 2013 – Lazada has officially launched its Marketplace platform in all its markets – an online platform for third-party sellers who aspire to be visible on the region’s most popular online shopping mall.

Lazada is operating a multi-category online shopping mall withalmost two hundred thousand products listed and is now offering a platform enabling merchants, both online and offline, to sell their products onhttps://www.lazada.com.ph or any other Lazada’s web store in Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand or Malaysia. Lazada’s Marketplace sets new standards in the industry by providing customized support for logistical arrangements,state-of-the-art online marketing initiatives and a tailored shop-in-shop visible to its huge visitor base.

The Marketplace solution allowsSME’s, big brands, distributers and retailers to open an online shop without the need for significant upfrontcapital expenditures and is thus lowering the risk for those merchants. Furthermore, it can help its partners to gain acompetitive advantage as it provides access to Lazada’s massive community of fans and customers across the region. According to social-network analytic website Social Bakers, Lazada is one of the most liked pages on Facebook with almost 5 million Facebook fans and an average of 8,000 new “like” every day.

Maximilian Bittner, CEO of Lazada said “the number of partnership requests we received made us realize the massive demand and we are glad to provide this opportunity to all merchants in the region”.Bittner continued: “westarted to develop our Marketplace platform in late 2012 as it fits perfectly withour goal to continuously expand our product offering and service level to our customers and partners”. Bittner also believes the platform has the powerful “side-effect” of developing an online eco-system whichwill createbusinessopportunities supporting economic growth and job creation in SouthEast Asia.

The Marketplace operation is sophisticated but user friendly, eliminating the micromanagement and hassle of updating and keeping track of individual transactions. Merchants are able to build their catalogue, update inventory, and create new listings in their virtual shop via a store management tool synchronized with Lazada’s back-end IT system.Lazada also allocates a dedicated account manager to merchants who will educate on eCommerce best-practices andadvice on further growth potential.

One of the early adapters to join Lazada’s Marketplace was Pineapple Computers in Malaysia, a well-established electronic retailer.Dato Mark Lim, founder and Managing Director of Pineapple Computer said, “we faced aggressive competition from larger players as well as high operating costs, limiting our ability to expand the business, even though our prices were competitive. With Lazada’s Marketplace, its capable workforce, logistic management and delivery system we have grown the business by 38% and have now a visibility to hundreds of thousands of Malaysians that were inaccessible to us previously. Pineapple has entered a new frontier.”

Lazada’s Marketplace has also caught the attention of major players such as Philips Electronics, the market leader in several small appliance categories. Ms. Siriwan Nitkitjatorn, General Manager of Consumer Lifestyle Sector at Philips in Thailand said, “Philips will partner with Lazada to make our innovations even more easily accessible to consumers allowing them to enjoy our products wherever they are”. Recognizing the strong growth potential in eRetailing and the convenience it brings to consumers, she pointed out, “Philips has always designed their products around the needs of the customers and nowadays the ability to use an online distribution channel is part of those needs.”

the little man very happy with this very advanced birthday gift! 🙂

The site is so easy-peasy to use that even children can buy from them. True to their word, they offer 2-day delivery to places like ours which is quite near but is out of bounds from Manila. The items are neatly packed and placed in pouches, or in boxes in case of fragile items like cosmetics and tin lunch boxes. And what’s even better is they even offer free shipping on almost all items.
