potter alert: the deathly hallows part 2 london premiere

“Hogwarts will always be there to welcome you home” ~ JK Rowling

Don’t you just wish you were with those several thousands of Harry Potter fans in Trafalgar Square in London to witness this epic premiere of our beloved series, the best premiere the UK has ever seen? I sure did!

Well, too bad Trafalgar Square is eon miles away from where we are. Glad my bro, who is the most Harry Potter hardcore of all my siblings, found this almost-four-hour video streaming of the most celebrated London premiere. Enjoy 😉

a productive week

Last week, I finally managed to get out of the house + had some errands done. What with the weather being wet + rainy almost the entire week, we are lucky to see some sunshine during mid-week, just the break I am waiting for so I can tag the little man along + get out for some fresh air.

The errands:

  • Finally I was able to visit the nearest Union Bank to my place, which is almost an hour away so it wasn’t really what you’d categorized as near, right? Am only glad Jared’s dad brought his car so we were spared of the unnecessary stress that taking public transport brings. We arrived to the bank just in the nick of time, that is to say, we were lucky enough to be inside the premises when the guard flipped over the “we are open” sign. The teller who assisted me was very accommodating + I can’t wait to get my Eon card soon !
  • I told you about my newly discovered passion which is post crossing. Now, I am way behind in sending postcards to fellow post crossing enthusiast, simply because I’ve run out of postcards to send. I originally wanted to send Bulacan postcards only, my own simple way of showing my love to my province of residence, but unfortunately, postcards highlighting my province is scarce in supply. So with such a heavy heart, I succumbed to getting all those lovely postcards featuring other wonderful places in the country. I got a few Boracay, Palawan, + Subic postcards which I shall be posting here soon. Now, I can’t wait to send them to my postcrossing friends. All I need are some of stamps + I will be all set.
  • Applying for an Eon card was a breeze that we’ve got plenty of time to visit SM Baliuag which is just a stone’s throw away from the bank. I’ve never been to the mall for several weeks I guess + it was quite a welcome change. I managed to drop by a few shops + buy some stuffs, including 2 shorts for myself + a coloring book for Jared that I only wish he’d be interested in soon enough. After looking around, we got hungry + went to Tokyo!Tokyo for an early dinner. I remember the last time we were here with a bunch of my College friends + Jared totally loved the miso soup with rice + the red iced tea (he drank half of my glass!) so I thought we’d eat here again so the little man would have the inkling to eat solids, too! + it was very effective! He’s had quite a number of spoonfuls of rice + drank an ample amount of red iced tea! Mission accomplished!

I have to fill out all my postcards + send them to the lovely recipients as soon as I can. I also need to finish several posts for both my blogs + do a number of household chores. Hmm, I guess next week will be just as creative, am keeping my fingers! 😉

Happy rainy weekend everyone!
