Putting my family first

money talks, money matters, mum's thoughts
Looking after my family is something I take great pride in. I’ll do anything for them, no matter how big or small, easy or difficult it is, but there’s always a thought in the back of my mind: what would happen if, for some reason, I was unable to look after them? Would they have the money to pay for everything like food, water and electricity? Could they cope if I passed away? I don’t know for sure, but I still worry about not being able to provide for my family.

It can hit a family hard if one of them were to die for a number of reasons. The main one is getting emotional, and nothing can help repair those wounds, but the inevitable financial loss can be covered, as I found out when I visited lifeinsurance.org.uk. There, I discovered that, by taking out a life insurance policy, my family will have enough money to meet their costs should I pass away, which will at least mean there’s one less thing for them to worry about.

Having some money to pay for the cost of my funeral, as well as all the essentials like food and shelter is why it’s worth taking out life insurance. I want to put my family first, and by having this form of cover, I feel that I’m doing something good for them. By receiving life insurance payments, if I go, it will be my last big favour I will do for them, and they will be looked after financially at the very least. Hopefully I’d be able to set aside a portion of my blogging money so that I can avail of a life insurance really soon.

  1. Bordering from being idealist and realist, I say God will take care of everything yet we need to do our part. That’s a good idea getting life insurance Vix! I hope we can also do that now that our family’s getting bigger and bigger… 🙂

  2. Such is a sad thought but we have to be practical and all…our kids need us still so we we have to be always careful and alert…

    1. morbid, I know, but i guess mums are cut out to think of even the most unfortunate events, especially those concerning their families + children
